Mercy, miracles, and one weary prayer warrior

I’ve been working on this for a few weeks. Life unravels still, hence the silence.

I was having a conversation with a friend of mine a few weeks back, who filled in the details of something that happened a week before our conversation. Now, granted, within twenty minutes of notification of that event unfolding some weeks back, I had people fiercely praying all over the country as it was happening.

Social networking and text messages can be amazingly efficient to hit the prayer warriors in a very short span of time.

Amazingly. Efficient.

And my little Administrative Assistant brain always synthesizes things in the big picture, and I couldn’t help but think — as I stood there listening to my friend telling this tale, wanting to fall over and throw up — how awesomely (truly awesomely) the Holy Spirit had showed up with power in this case.
